PLANET IX has Big News!
Some changes to the game has made it even better!
All throughout the Beta Phase, the game developers have been testing the game’s core mechanics and features, learning and understanding what works well, and making changes to ensure that your playing experience is even better! We believe that PLANET IX is going to be the biggest crypto-based game in the world – and with your feedback during the Beta Phase, we have been able to ensure that it will be. In the near future, we will be implementing these changes, thereby taking your gameplay to a whole new level!
What are the changes?
Mapping
Improvements to the way PIX and PIX clusters are visualised on the map. For this to be implemented, all PIX that have been distributed to date need to be re-generated.
Cluster size
On the new grid, you will see clusters only and not PIX to PIX. PIX cluster size has also been adjusted and will now occupy a larger area in the map.
Total number of PIX and Territory NFTs: With the new grid and size of PIX clusters, the total amount of PIX in PLANET IX will decrease by almost 50%. That’s actually a really good thing, since territory NFTs will be much easier to achieve, and you will be able to reap rewards much sooner.
New tier Classification
The new number of PIX has also led to the exchange in rarity of two PIX types: Natural Reserve is no longer Rare but Uncommon; and Metropolitan is no longer Uncommon but Rare. When all the PIX are re-generated on the new map grid, you will have the same amount of tiers, but the area will be larger (increased cluster sizes) and will include new places within the drop zone. Bigger cluster sizes mean you will own a larger part of the world! Here’s how the PIX areas will change:
PIX cluster = NFT: Every PIX Cluster, even before being developed or grouped as Sector, Domain or Federation, is already an NFT. If you’ve participated in a few drops, it means you probably already have some NFTs in your inventory.
Landmark NFT Shares
Most Landmark NFTS will be co-owned, which means you and a few other players will benefit from owning a part of an NFT. This translates into the reward generation these NFTs will provide to players. You will be able to buy, sell or trade NFT shares in the marketplace as you wish.
Yes, these are major changes – but they are all to your benefit as a player. When these changes are implemented in the near future, you will be able to reap rewards sooner, and gameplay will be much smoother. Excitement around PLANET IX continues to build! The previous Beta Pack drop sold out in 24 minutes, and by the time these were gone, they had received an additional 500,000 requests to purchase.
